Meet Sherryn Gaworecki

Sherryn holds a Master’s in Leadership and Management. She also has a Bachelor’s in Communications from Notre Dame of Maryland University. She is passionate about writing, TV production, social media, and acting.

In her writing experience, Sherryn has interviewed Walter Emanuel Jones, Amy Jo Johnson, Aries Spears, and Kel Mitchell. She also interviewed Brendan Fehr, Melinda Metz, Channing Tatum, and Kato Kaelin. Additionally, she interviewed Geeta Patel, Shiri Appleby, and Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford. She also spoke with Jane Velez-Mitchell, etc..

She has experience in the non-profit field. She has worked in TV production and digital marketing. She brings a wealth of knowledge to anyone she collaborates with. Over the years, Sherryn has published articles in Girls Life Magazine, Montgomery County Sentinel, We The Eaters, Nanny Magazine, Crashdown.com, The Daily Record, PBS, The Salvation Army, National Women’s History Project, Sharing The Details, and other notable publications. Sherryn also served as an assistant producer on Maryland Public Television’s Emmy-winning 50th Anniversary Documentary. She also contributed to MPT’s Boscov Travel Instructions video. She also served as on-air talent on MPT’s weekend on-air pledges and as on-air talent on 8 episodes of Motorweek.

In 2023, Sherryn won a Bronze Telly and a Capital Emmy. She was a producer for “Hope Is On The Way,” which is a documentary about The Salvation Army in Baltimore. You can watch “Hope Is On The Way” for FREE on youtube here. “Hope is on the Way” is an Emmy-winning documentary. It was created by The Salvation Army of Central Maryland. The film explores what The Salvation Army does 365 days a year once the Christmas season ends. All the money raised from the Red Kettles brings hope to your nearest neighbor. This hope comes through their Pantry on the Go, CSFP program, and Boys and Girls Clubs. It also extends to the FeedMore mobile canteen, Summer Camp, Churches, and Volunteers. Furthermore, it supports Feeding programs and so much more. All contributions impacts people living in Baltimore, Carroll County, Howard County, Glen Burnie, Harford County, and Cecil County.

Sherryn serves in the programming board for Baltimore Public Relations Council. Sherryn is also a member of The Maryland Writer’s Association plus Communications Volunteer for the American Marketing Association in Baltimore.
